WOW WOW WOW! We're probably one of the few growers in North America to have had the privilege of working with this one. Finest from Kulpa. Grew really well for us. Purple red with purple eye zone above a yellow green throat, petals edged with yellow white shark's teeth. Easily fertile both ways. We took it to dark and heavily toothy flowers in hope of increasing sizes, bud counts and depth of colour. Semi-evergreen. 15 buds. Main pix from the hybridizer. Others from us. -

Grew really well but didn't get a chance to bloom for us this summer. Here again, we have to wait until 2026 to be allowed to resell it. It goes at $300 US on Floyd Cove's site. Orchid purple with darker purple eye outlined with raspberry, double edge of purple and orchid with lemon and white teeth, and a large green throat with veining. Fertile both ways. It did very well for us this first year, even though we stripped it way down to the crown to prevent rust in our gardens from new arrivals. Pretty much the same as in the picture from Pierce. We finally have one nice mature fan for sale (and 8 mid-sized ones coming right along!) WHAT AN IMPACTFUL FLOWER!!! From the hybridizers: "Flowers are fiery ruffled ruby red with an intense triangular green throat. Can also have a lighter watermark depending how far the applique, relief and pleats comes out. Sculpting is mainly relief but can also have pleating, variable. Completely different genetics than any of the other relief and pleats, so extremely new genetics. When outcrossed to others, kids are extraordinary. Has two doses of Tet. Rose F. Kennedy and a dose of Tet. Emerald Starburst, so expect a very green throat.
