Harold’s Hammer is a result of crossing two of our outstanding introductions. The result is a beautiful flower with excellent performance. The appearance is similar to the slow growing and sold-out Pinewood Sledgehammer. The flower on Harold’s Hammer is a little smaller but is still a large flower at 6.5″. It opened great in the summer of 2025 and with good scapes, we knew it was time to introduce it.

We have records of success using Harold’s Hammer as a pod parent, but we have not done a good job exploring it to its full potential. That is too bad for us because this plant has powerful genetics that should be put to use. With Tet. Rose F. Kennedy as a grandparent and the fabulous Harold Steen as the pod parent, big edges and a variety of colors await those who would use this plant for hybridizing.” Dormant. 26 buds. Pix from Korth.
