From Gossard: “Flowers of ‘Larry’s Twilight Bite’ are cranberry purple with a darker wine red eye zone. Sepals and petals are edged in claws, fangs, teeth, and tentacles. The color of the teeth can vary depending upon position. They can be gold, green, and white. Has a yellow green throat. And it is a dormant. Has a lot of eyed daylilies in its background. Great parent for hybridizing for patterned eyes and teeth which are also patterned. When I lined it out in September it was still sending up rebloom scapes. A super garden and hybridizing daylily. It starts blooming mid late season and can go all the way until frost.” Dormant. Pix from Gossard.
