Raging Sea is a full sibling to our fine 2024 introduction Heart of the Sea. Raging Sea has the same unique genetic mix of southern evergreens with our dormant Sign of Jonah. The flower appearance is noticeably darker (angrier) and features a larger edge for a much different look.
Raging Sea is an excellent garden plant. The flowers are showy and consistent with the foliage having great northern hardiness. As a hybridizing plant, it is fertile both ways and will produce fancy seedlings.” Dormant. 15 buds. Pix from Korth.
