  • IT IS QUITE STUNNING, A 7" OF PURE STRIKING BEAUTY. From Emmerich's description: "Flawless, unspotted rose cranberry (sometimes grape cranberry); triangular multi-lavender eye and edge plus ivory; yellow to green throat. Hardy, easy opener, gorgeous flower. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AS A PARENT IF YOU WANT TO GET AN ASTONISHING NUMBER OF ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, INTERESTING, DIVERSE, SUPER FANCY FACES. What I was especially excited about was that IT WORKED WELL WITH ALMOST EVERYTHING I PUT IT WITH! Most of you know I'm not a capital letter and exclamation point kind of person. Just wanted you to know I was blown away throughout the season by the sheer number of its beautiful kids, and even more so when I saw the offspring all pictured together. I think you will have great fun experimenting with it. Fertile both ways." Semi-evergreen. Pix from hybridizer.

  • From Gossard: "Forbidden Territory is a maroon purple flower with a lighter eye zone and green throat. The edge is lacy white with sharks teeth. What sets this daylily apart from my other teeth daylilies is its early bloom. Almost all my other teeth daylilies are mid to mid-late season. Forbidden Territory starts early but continues to bloom though out mid and mid late season due to its great rebloom. It is a easy parent and thus an important parent for hybridizing for early bloom and rebloomers." Dormant. Pix from hybridizer.
