A real delight in the garden. Pretty much the same face every single day. We crossed it heavily with more blueish flowers, namely Yoga Man, Sc. Peace Maker and Blueberry Icing. From Korth: "The dominant feature in the flower is the large lavender eye that extends to the wide edge. Around the eye is a band of violet mirrored in the edge. The cream petal color is quite small but accents the other colors. In the garden, Celestial Waters is a little shorter than most of our plants making it an ideal plant for the border edge. The scapes are well budded and bloom above the foliage. We had reblooms in 2023. The foliage is dormant and hardy here in our harsh winters." Main pix from Korth. (Healing Waters x (Inviting Romance x (Blue Ambition x Jacob’s Well))) x Celestial Water) Cascade Falls is our first introduction out of our Celestial Waters. In comparison, Cascade Falls is taller, larger, and has a bigger edge than its parent. The form frequently has pinched petals giving it a “wild” look and reminded us of a cascading waterfall. In the garden, Cascade Falls provides an abundance of fancy flowers on good scapes. The flowers open well and have good substance. The clear color and form make Cascade Falls easily recognizable in the garden. Cascade Falls has shown itself to be a fine parent. We should have used it more as the limited breeding we have done with it has yielded some wonderful seedlings. The form and large edge are passed on to many of its offspring. Pod and pollen fertile."
