Grew really well but didn't get a chance to bloom for us this summer. Here again, we have to wait until 2026 to be allowed to resell it. It goes at $300 US on Floyd Cove's site. Orchid purple with darker purple eye outlined with raspberry, double edge of purple and orchid with lemon and white teeth, and a large green throat with veining. Fertile both ways. SINGLE FAN AT THIS TIME. Just so you know, it blooms TEXTBOOK here, exactly with some stripples, as shown in the pix from Korth. According to him: "The color of Flame of Anor is hot red with a toothy gold edge on petals and sepals. The most unique feature of this flower is the stippled coloring on both the petals and sepals. This results in spots, streaks and other interesting markings on the petals without appearing like blemishes. Another great feature is the consistent opening of the flowers despite the heavily ruffled toothy edge. As a breeder, we have used Flame of Anor successfully with the toothy edge passed on to the offspring. Those who are breeding for stippled flowers may find Flame of Anor an important flower." A fabulous flower with a heavy edge seldom seen in the North. Sometimes huge angel wings appear. I have seen flowers hang occasionally.
