From Korth: "Bring some romance to your garden with Sunset Proposal. Heir to the Throne and its offspring, Blown Away, have been sold out every year. Combining the genetics of Heir to the Throne and Blown Away with the clear colored Shores of Time gave a great new introduction – Sunset Proposal. Like the two famous parents, Sunset Proposal features a blend of color on the petals, a large gold edge with small teeth, easy opening, and hardy dormant foliage. In the garden, Sunset Proposal is a standout with many days with multiple flowers open. The flowers are a brighter pink than either parent but are still a lovely blend of pink and orange. The flowers are fertile both ways and we are starting to see exciting seedlings from Sunset Proposal. Sunset Proposal was named for our son Andrew and his wife Michelle. They became engaged when Andrew surprised Michelle with a romantic proposal on the shores of Green Bay at sunset. We are sure Sunset Proposal will be loved wherever it goes." Pix from Korth. From Korth: "Red with bright gold edge and light red watermark, sepals are lighter red and match the watermark, green throat. What did we expect when we crossed the dark purple Pinewood Tree of Life with pastel Hailey Annabelle? Not sure but we are pleased with this fine red daylily. The best features are the clear color and excellent scapes. It also opens well and is hardy in our zone 4 climate. In the garden, Tree of Paradise has great, sturdy scapes like its pod parent. The flowers roll back and do not hang up despite the large gold edge. With the excellent bud count, the bloom season is extended. It is rather slow growing which is fine in the garden as it does not require dividing as frequently as fast-growing plants. As a hybridizing plant, we have found Tree of Paradise to be pod and pollen fertile. We did not make use of it much the first few years as it was slow to grow but we have seen some fine seedlings last year. The name is synonymous with Tree of Life, the pod parent, and the Tree of Paradise will be found in the new heavens and new earth per Revelation 22:2." Pix from Korth. Dormant. 25 buds. From Korth: "Deep brick red with green throat, red sepals, and cream toothy edge. Stones of Fire is our second introduction from Pinewood Flambeau. Pinewood Flambeau is a fine garden plant, but Stones of Fire exceeds it in flower size and scape height. The tall scapes stay upright and display the deep red flowers well. The flowers open well but need a little time in the morning to fully open – not an early morning opener. That is fine because the flowers look good throughout the day. As a breeder, Stones of Fire is fertile both ways. We have some excellent seedlings under evaluation in red and burgundy colors with more to bloom in 2027. The large toothy edge is passed on to the offspring making for some fun seedlings. The name Stones of Fire is a continuation of our rock/mineral theme going way back to one of our first introductions – Upon This Rock. We can trace the lineage of Stones of Fire back to Upon This Rock and we try to maintain the rock/mineral theme when Upon This Rock is in the background. The name is taken from the Old Testament book of Ezekiel 28:14 where Satan is described as blessed while walking on the Stones of Fire in the garden of Eden before he rebelled against God." From Kinnebrew: "A most interesting flower showing a base blend of lavender and magenta with multiple varying color breaks in a patterned eye. Flower form is round with a double edge that sometimes shows off a few teeth. Very much like its parent Spacecoast Crafty Chameleon, each bloom has its own unique look. Plants are somewhat slow to increase, but are extremely vigorous, making large fans." Evergreen. 20 buds. Pix from the hybridizers.Additional information

From Kinnebrew: "This is easily our most toothy 2026 intro. Lovely pink flowers are accented with a lighter pink inner halo and completely covered with white teeth. No doubt, a real attention getter in the garden. Sturdy scapes are 32” tall and hold up to 18-20 buds. Full sibling to 2026 Intro Spacecoast Raggedy Annie. Easily fertile both ways." Evergreen. From Kinnebrew: "This selection is certainly typical of Spacecoast Peacemaker breeding. Very large flowers have a cream base, radiant purple eye, and matching picotee edge. The eye takes up the majority of the flower and shows interesting breaks in color, as well. Flower form is full and segments sometimes recurve, especially late in the season. Just like its parent, it makes monster plants with towering 44” scapes that are well branched and carry 18 to 22 buds. We found this one to be pollen fertile only in our garden." Evergreen.
