According to the hybridizers: "Flowers are red with lighter pink feathered tricolor eye zone and large white fangs, tentacles and shark's teeth tricolor edge. An exceptionally large green throat. An extremely difficult cross, pod parent is tetra Emerald Starburst. Larry grace conversion that I had to get several times in order to get a useable conversion. Finally isolated a pod fertile conversion. I got 2 seeds. Pollen was from Spacecoast White Fang, 2020 introduction that was $500 as well. Color, green throat, and toothy edge makes it the top of its class. Thus, the name, does not get any better than Tyrannosaurus Rex. One of the prettiest I have seen. Great bud count, branching, and northern hardy as well. Its only fault is that it can produce such a big edge it can hang more than I like. So I’ve been crossing with flowers like my Heavenly New Frontiers and tetra Cliff jumper to correct. Everyone that has seen it wants it so here it is.
