  • A ruffled yellow-gold with a black-wine eye and edge above a green throat. What a show-stopping flower! This is what Culver had to say about it: "This much admired intro is a full sibling to CARDINAL EXPLOSION and EXPLOSIVE FORCE. If you like bold, bright, clear colour then this intro has that. You will most certainly notice this one in the garden, it has presence. The final introduction out of three full sibs and the one with the most contrast in colour. Combining two of our finest parents SUN PANDA exemplifies the genetic potential they have had as parents. This is one of the daylilies that visitors to the farm have been drawn to. It makes a bold statement in the garden with its bold clear colours. It's as if it were saying "look at me". Along with a bold coloured flower SUN PANDA has the same good plant habit that you expect coming from both its parents. Fertile both ways'. Semi-evergreen.

  • From Pierce: "Brighten your garden with Sun Spike, the radiant 2025 introduction that captures the essence of sunny days! This delightful daylily stands at 30 inches and features vibrant blooms measuring 6.75 inches across, showcasing a cheerful lemon yellow color enhanced by darker veining that adds depth and interest. Each petal is adorned with small splashes of light pink at the tips, creating a charming contrast that enhances the flower’s overall appeal. The wide, toothy edge adds texture and excitement, while the lush green throat provides a beautiful focal point. With diamond-dusted petals that sparkle in the sunlight, Sun Spike is sure to catch the eye of every passerby. This evergreen tetraploid is not just visually stunning; it’s also fragrant, filling your garden with its sweet aroma. Boasting 35 buds and 6 branches, Sun Spike promises a generous and vibrant display throughout the early midseason and beyond, thanks to its dependable reblooming nature. With parentage from Good Day Sun Smile and a special seedling, Sun Spike is a standout choice for gardeners looking to add a burst of color and joy to their landscape. • From Korth: "Bring some romance to your garden with Sunset Proposal. Heir to the Throne and its offspring, Blown Away, have been sold out every year. Combining the genetics of Heir to the Throne and Blown Away with the clear colored Shores of Time gave a great new introduction – Sunset Proposal. Like the two famous parents, Sunset Proposal features a blend of color on the petals, a large gold edge with small teeth, easy opening, and hardy dormant foliage. In the garden, Sunset Proposal is a standout with many days with multiple flowers open. The flowers are a brighter pink than either parent but are still a lovely blend of pink and orange. The flowers are fertile both ways and we are starting to see exciting seedlings from Sunset Proposal. Sunset Proposal was named for our son Andrew and his wife Michelle. They became engaged when Andrew surprised Michelle with a romantic proposal on the shores of Green Bay at sunset. We are sure Sunset Proposal will be loved wherever it goes." Pix from Korth. • It was simply gorgeous in 2026, the first year that we allowed it to grow into multifans clump. It bloomed and rebloomed profusely, with even more ornate flowers on the rebloom! Soft peach petals with cream ruffled edge. From Korth: "Traditional rebloom is not an important feature in our northern climate. For flowers that bloom from mid July through mid-August, having a second bloom season beginning in late August results in flowers that get stunted and refuse to open due to the cool nights of September. However, if we can get instant rebloom through multiple scapes per fan, then we can get a longer bloom season but still have the mid-summer warmth to allow the flowers to perform well. Sweet Repeat blooms in mid season but the mature fans will get a second and even a third scape while the first scape is in bloom. Even without the multiple scapes per fan, the flowers are delightful with a huge edge featuring teeth, loops, and ruffles. Mature clumps will be covered with flowers as the picture below shows 19 perfect flowers open. This is a great northern flower but it should perform well all across the northern regions of our country. Fertile both ways, Sweet Repeat will add great plant habit to any hybridizing program." •   From Richard: "Pale pink with rose tips and yellow toothy edge. Another intro from Heavenly New Frontiers. Happy colors that light up the late garden. Fertile both ways. The name comes from an old European folklore tradition where beekeepers would inform their hives of major life events, like births, marriages, or deaths, believing that failing to do so would bring bad luck, causing the bees to leave or die. If someone died, the hive would be draped in black cloth, and the bees would be told the news, sometimes with a solemn knock or song, to keep them from mourning excessively or absconding. It's a practice rooted in the belief that bees are spiritual links to the otherworld and integral members of the household, requiring them to be kept "in the loop"." Semi-evergreen. 17 buds. • From Korth: "Telperion was the legendary white tree of Valinor in the writings of J.R.R Tolkien. With leaves of dark green and flowers of glowing silver, Telperion the tree was a glorious sight. The daylily Telperion may not shed light of its own, but the cream white flowers with gold edges tinted green are a cooling sight in the garden. Flowers open great with large edges of lacy chartreuse. We have not introduced a near white in several years but Telperion is a unique flower for us with the greenish lacy edge from Fringy in a hardy dormant plant that excels in the north. Fertile both ways, it has been a good breeder for us." Dormant. 16 buds. Pix from Korth.

  • From Gossard: "Terrorsaur blasts into the landscape with its rich, SUNFAST blood red color and gleaming TRICOLOR teeth of White, Gold, and even RED. Lavishly ornamented with teeth on both petals and sepals and out of Mike Holmes' OUTSTANDING Holidays to You crossed with my Dragon Hunter, this beauty stands up to any attack, whether it be sun, rain, or heat, and laughingly shrugs them off, staying perfect and strong every time. Terrorsaur is an important parent for me in my quest for even bigger, badder, better toothy reds. Outstanding in every way, a great show flower and hybridizer's dream.
