  • SINGLE FAN AT THIS TIME. A peach-pink blend with a large and very heavy ruffled and toothy gold-chartreuse edge above a vivid green throat. Culver said about it: "From the day this daylily first showed its maiden bloom, PHYLLIS MITCHELL was picked as something special in our hybridizing program. PHYLLIS MITCHELL is being used extensively to put fancy edges into our lines. The plant is a very vigorous, healthy grower that bounces back from dividing exceptionally well. It has stood out as a very fancy daylily in our select seedling beds and destined from day one to be introduced. Fertile both ways." Dormant habit.

  • From Korth: "Pinewood Lily Pad is a striking daylily with a unique appearance. We received many compliments from garden visitors when they saw this flower. The bitone flowers have chartreuse sepals without any red. When combined with the huge green throat and flat form and this is a standout flower. The dark red petal tips are a great contrast to the green throat and appear dipped in ink." Dormant. Diploid. 22 buds. Pix from Korth.

  • According to Gossard: "Flowers are rose pink with a large lighter pink watermark and triple edge of pink, light rose and gold and green throat. The beauty of this daylily is amazing. One of the prettiest I have seen. Great bud count, branching, and northern hardy as well. Its only fault is that it can produce such a big edge it can hang more than I like. So I’ve been crossing with flowers like my Heavenly New Frontiers and tetra Cliff jumper to correct. Everyone that has seen it wants it so here it is. Genetics has tetra Rose F Kennedy on both sides of parents." Semi-evergreen and fragrant. Pix from Gossard.
