According to Gossard: "Flowers are rose pink with a large lighter pink watermark and triple edge of pink, light rose and gold and green throat. The beauty of this daylily is amazing. One of the prettiest I have seen. Great bud count, branching, and northern hardy as well. Its only fault is that it can produce such a big edge it can hang more than I like. So I’ve been crossing with flowers like my Heavenly New Frontiers and tetra Cliff jumper to correct. Everyone that has seen it wants it so here it is. Genetics has tetra Rose F Kennedy on both sides of parents." Semi-evergreen and fragrant. Pix from Gossard. -

This one, we just can't get enough of it. Progeny of Boundless Beauty and Dixie Highways, it will add so much sophistication to your gardens, it's unbelievable. Opens up flawlessly daily, with slight golden hues in the morning, morphing into lighter yellow later on. Some days it presents itself with big hoops and angel wings, some days it offers a tighter frilled edge. Fertile both ways. Some fragrance. Great stem presentation. Awesome bud count. Reblooms into September for us. All data to be confirmed this summer for registration purposes. Stay put! (or put your name on the wait list if you wished to get one...)Additional information

From Pierce: "This early‑mid season, semi‑evergreen tetraploid reblooms reliably and delights the garden with its soft orange self color, deeply sculpted with pleats and extensive ribbing across the petals, sepals, and throat. The throat itself is a crisp green, while the petals are softly ruffled for added texture, and the plant is graced with a gentle fragrance. With parentage from a select seedling and the cultivar Satin Facets, Pleated Madness brings dimensional structure, pleasing scent, and garden vigor in one charming flower." Semi-evergreen. 30 buds.
