There is a lot going on in BIG RED BULL, and best of all every bloom is perfection, opening perfectly!!! The color in the picture does have some purple shades in it, the RED is seen more with your own eye. A perfect daylily carrying ALL 8 of (my) required characteristics to become a Pierce introduction. A funny story. The first year she bloomed after seedling selection, a man came up to me and said he wanted to “Follow” this daylily. I said sure. With the blooms texture and all the branching, I could see why. What is especially beautiful and unique is the watermark, a watermelon/bubblegum white which repeats on the edging too.
