• From Emmerich's description: "Color ranges from dark lavender to violet cranberry; chalky lavender watermark and edge plus ivory; yellow to green throat. Why introduce this one since there are others around with similar looks? Because it is a great zone 4 garden flower and insisted each day I walked by that it shouldn't be ignored - Blooms are consistent, it grows fast and has lots of scapes, so it is almost always a bouquet bloomer as pictured. Fertile both ways." Semi-evergreen. Pix from Emmerich.

  • From Gossard's site: "Flowers are red with lighter red watermark and green throat. Heavy edge varies in color from white, chartreuse, and gold. A fabulous flower with a heavy edge seldom seen in the North. Sometimes huge angel wings appear. I have seen flowers hang occasionally. Been an important flower for breeding with 'Heavenly New Frontier' and 'Wolfman' kids. It has tetra 'Rose F. Kennedy' on both of parents' side. Northern Hardy." Semi-evergreen. Pix from Gossard.

  • ONLY 2 SINGLE FANS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. Description from hybridizer: Medium orchid with a 1/2″ purple border, and lilac splashed filigree. The purple edge (flecked with shades of lilac) is encircled with yellow gold filigree and elaborately embellished with talons and sparkles of diamond and amethyst. The eye shows phenomenal colour saturation in imperial purple, above the yellow to green throat. The EMO form is full, quite flat, overlapped, and widespread. GSTQ is a very fertile parent both ways. Its kids easily display embellished double and triple edges. The strongly recurrent scapes are branched 3-4 ways, with 26 or more buds. Comes from (‘Moonfeather’ x ‘Martina Verhaert’) x ‘Scott Bennett’.

  • From Gossard: "Heavenly Purplicious is a full sibling to this year's Eno Vino, and displays some of the different characteristics the Amazing genetics brings to the table in the background of this daylily. Like Eno Vino, there are a plethora of conversions in the background of this daylily. Crystal Blue Persuasion? Got it. Lavender Blue Baby? YEP. Now how about adding in doses of Rose F Kennedy and then Crossing with Tetra EMERALD STARBURST! Even if this daylily wasn't every bit as beautiful as it is (and it is AMAZING ) the genetics alone and the Tetraploid conversions present in this daylily make it worth thousands of dollars alone. Heavenly Purplicious displays the blue of Crystal Blue Persuasion and Lavender Blue Baby and the more triangular, almost applique eye of Tetra Emerald Starburst. Skip the steps of trying to locate rare and difficult to use conversions and go with Heavenly Purplicious to move your program forward. The sky is the limit with this one." Dormant. • From Pierce: "Basically what is emerging here, with a hell of a lot of hard work, is a new daylily color; Green. Now HIGH MOUNTAIN DEW is not green, But, and here it is… They ARE coming, step by step using Tens of thousands of seed, AND Time. But this is for another day. Visitors have commented, and I feel it is a fair, close example, they say “That big one looks like a huge Tennis Ball”, I will tell you “She is certainly NOT a yellow”. HIGH MOUNTAIN DEW is also the best and most full form I have released in this coloration – Yea!!! One of the best Tetra Rose F. Kennedy offspring to date. A Warning; After only a few blooms, you will find yourself not able to look at (older/other) yellows the same way again. She is easily fertile both ways." Semi-evergreen. Pix from hybridizer.
