  • From the hybridizers: "Spacecoast Big Frosty is an early bloomer, this gorgeous, 9 inch-plus near white daylily will begin the bloom season with a spectacular show. She has great substance. This is one monster bloom, one of the biggest I have seen in a round flower. We call this the hibiscus form. Very rare genetics from a conversion that I paid $2,000 from Larry Grace. We always called the conversion, 2K. Some reverted back, but after testing many plants via flow cytometer, I have a 100% full tetraploid conversion of My Cup Overflows. This conversion was used to get SC Big Frosty. A very important daylily to be hybridized with some of the other large forms. A very outstanding Daylily with great plant habit and bud count." • From Korth: "Daughter of the King is a large step forward in dormant pink daylilies. The clear color comes from Treasure of the Southwest and Shores of Time. While the flowers are great with clear color, ruffles and gold edges, the plant habit is outstanding. The scapes are tall and sturdy, the flowers open well, and the dormant plant habit makes these flowers extremely hardy. A great pink daylily." Dormant. 17 buds. Pix from Korth.

  •   From Korth: " (Built on the Rock x Dark Gethsemane) Rock of Refuge genetics go way back to one of our first introductions – Upon This Rock (Spacecoast Starburst x Startle) and we selected a mineral theme for the name. The best feature of this flower is the rich red color that is remarkably blemish free. The light pink watermark, bright green throat, and glowing gold edge give this flower an electric look. Easily visible across the garden, Rock of Refuge attracts the eye with its bright, clear colors. As a parent, it is fertile both ways and will produce clear flowers with fancy edges." • From Korth: "Rich purple with blue/lavender watermark, green throat, and a large, ruffled edge of blue lavender rimmed with white. (Living Stone x (Adelyn Marie x (One Foundation seedling x Year of Jubilee))) The best feature of Unseen Realm is the exceptional color the flower displays. The flower jumps out in the garden with clear purple petals and white edging. In the garden, Unseen Realm opens consistently with perfect blooms. The scape height is fine for a front border plant, and the bud count is good, so we have been treated to many lovely blossoms in a bloom season. Unseen Realm is pod and pollen fertile, and we are seeing many great flowers from it. As a breeder, it can be used with dark purples, lavenders, reds, and watermarks. The genetic background includes purples, pinks, reds, and lavenders so the possibilities are nearly limitless." Dormant. 21 buds. Pix from Korth.

  • From Korth: "Cream with large lavender eye and purple outline, triple edge of purple, lavender and gold. (Lord of Life x Heart of the Sea) Every once in a while, we have a daylily that is a significant jump past either parent. Steadfast Love exceeds pod parent Lord of Life with more lavender in color and multi-colored eye and edge. Steadfast Love exceeds pollen parent Heart of the Sea with a much larger eye and edge. Heavy texture and easy opening despite the large, ruffled edge add to the impressive traits of this flower. We recognized the uniqueness of this flower early on and have many beautiful seedlings out of Steadfast Love. It is easily pod and pollen fertile. If you enjoy fancy eyed and edged flowers, Steadfast Love will produce many hardy seedlings that are truly special. Below are some examples but we have many under evaluation. In the garden, the flowers are good openers on fine scapes and very showy. The heavy texture allows the flowers to withstand heat and rain. In our zeal to propagate Steadfast Love, we have not allowed the plant to reach clump strength, but it will surely be a delight to have multiple flowers open on a garden clump. The name Steadfast Love comes from the Hebrew word hesed. It is used in the Old Testament about 250 times and is typically translated as steadfast love or loving kindness and reflects the care of God for his people. We thought using hesed would be a difficult name, so Steadfast Love was selected. Tet Collection only. We will be selling Steadfast Love as blooming size single fans." Dormant. 20 buds. • From Korth: "Dark purple with blue/lavender watermark, green throat, and a white, toothy edge. (Richard Raeker x Worthy of All Praise) x (Free to Dance x Judgment Day) We knew Return of the King was going to be an introduction several years ago. It just needed time to increase to have enough to sell. It is one of those plants that just does not have any significant flaws. Flowers are good openers, nearly blemish free, have good substance, and occasionally rebloom for us. The scapes are tall and sturdy with good branching. No problem with hardiness as all the plants lined out for the winter of 2025 came through without a problem. As a breeding plant, it has already produced two seedlings that will be introductions in the coming years and many more that are under evaluation. We will see more next summer as we loaded Return of the King with seed pods from some of Karol Emmerich’s newer purples and are looking forward to that. It is pod and pollen fertile and passes its fine characteristics to its offspring. The best trait it passes on is the lack of blemishes on the dark flower petals. Return of the King is an excellent all-around plant and we know our customers will enjoy it." Dormant. 21 buds. Pix from Korth.

  • From Korth: "Burgundy with lighter watermark, orange/gold throat and edge. (Benjamin Andrew x Judgment Day) Breeding with daylilies can be fascinating and surprising. The unique feature of Redemption Day is the edge and throat that have distinct orange tones to them. Neither parent displays that trait, so the orange color is a surprise to us. Redemption Day has been a consistently fine garden plant with flowers that open well and have clean colors. The combination of burgundy and orange goes well together, and Redemption Day is the first of several promising seedlings in that color range. We have not used Redemption Day as much as we should have but our records indicate it is pod fertile. With two of our finest introductions as parents, Redemption Day should be an excellent hybridizing plant." Dormant. 17 buds. Pix from Korth.

  • From Korth: "Medium lavender petals with large blue lavender eye with purple outline, wide, blue lavender edge lined with purple, green throat, pale lavender center on sepals rimmed with purple. Well of Salvation x ((Mary Vertz x (Blue Ambition x Healing Waters) x Sign of Jonah) – Seedling 6-4 Newness of Life was special from its maiden bloom in 2020. It was the “bluest” flower we had seen in the garden, and we immediately spread pollen on everything we could. Over the years, the flowers were consistently beautiful, and Newness of Life has been a key genetic piece in our hybridizing program. We have shown pictures of seedling 6-4 (now Newness of Life) in many presentations and on Facebook for several years so this plant and its beauty is no secret. As a garden plant, Newness of Life is outstanding – scapes and buds are good but the flowers are nearly perfect every bloom and we look forward to seeing the blooms every day in bloom season. We have not allowed our garden clump of Newness of Life to exceed 4 fans in an effort to propagate it rapidly. I can envision a mature clump of Newness of Life being a showstopper in the garden with many perfect blossoms displayed at the same time. As a hybridizing plant, Newness of Life excels in being both pod and pollen fertile. In 2025, we are collecting large pods from Newness of Life and are eager to see the results. In 2020, we took the first blooms of Newness of Life and spread pollen to more mature plants. We have several potential introductions from those initial crosses and have seen many more fine seedlings in subsequent years. In most cases, Newness of Life will produce seedlings that exceed the parents in beauty and plant habit. Going back to grandparent Sign of Jonah, Newness of Life shows pale lavender or white patches on the sepals. This is a showy trait, and it is passed on from Newness of Life to its offspring. Seedling 502-12 is an offspring of Newness of Life, and it is one of the most unique seedlings we have seen with a large white patch on the sepal along with a white edge on the sepal." • From Korth: "Medium purple with large lavender watermark and edge, green throat. (Servant to All x Sign of Jonah) My Servant Jonah is a product of two of our finest breeding introductions. The lavender watermark is similar to Servant to All while the near white patches on the sepals come from Sign of Jonah. The name also reflects both parents and is a tribute to the biblical prophet Jonah who was a servant of Yahweh even if he was reluctant. As a garden plant, My Servant Jonah excels. The flowers open well, and the scapes are tall and well branched. It was hardy enough to survive our 2025 winter without missing a beat. The genetics of My Servant Jonah and the ease of setting pods make this plant a powerful breeder. We have several potential introductions from My Servant Jonah and one of our most spectacular seedlings from 2025 had My Servant Jonah as the pod parent. Just like both of its parents, My Servant Jonah can breed for big edges and near blue eyezones." Dormant. 25 buds. Pix from Korth.

  • From Korth: "Rose red with pale rose watermark around green throat. Petals are edged with ruffled gold. (Harold Steen x Pinewood Sledgehammer) Harold’s Hammer is a result of crossing two of our outstanding introductions. The result is a beautiful flower with excellent performance. The appearance is similar to the slow growing and sold-out Pinewood Sledgehammer. The flower on Harold’s Hammer is a little smaller but is still a large flower at 6.5″. It opened great in the summer of 2025 and with good scapes, we knew it was time to introduce it. We have records of success using Harold’s Hammer as a pod parent, but we have not done a good job exploring it to its full potential. That is too bad for us because this plant has powerful genetics that should be put to use. With Tet. Rose F. Kennedy as a grandparent and the fabulous Harold Steen as the pod parent, big edges and a variety of colors await those who would use this plant for hybridizing." Dormant. 26 buds. Pix from Korth.

  • From Korth: "Cream petals, lavender eye with purple outline around green throat. The edge matches the eye pattern but is rimmed with pale gold. (Healing Waters x (Inviting Romance x (Blue Ambition x Jacob’s Well))) x Celestial Water) Cascade Falls is our first introduction out of our Celestial Waters. In comparison, Cascade Falls is taller, larger, and has a bigger edge than its parent. The form frequently has pinched petals giving it a “wild” look and reminded us of a cascading waterfall. In the garden, Cascade Falls provides an abundance of fancy flowers on good scapes. The flowers open well and have good substance. The clear color and form make Cascade Falls easily recognizable in the garden. Cascade Falls has shown itself to be a fine parent. We should have used it more as the limited breeding we have done with it has yielded some wonderful seedlings. The form and large edge are passed on to many of its offspring. Pod and pollen fertile." • From Korth: "Deep burgundy with green throat and bright gold edge. (Pinewood Sledgehammer x Benjamin Andrew) Pinewood Sledgehammer is our 2024 introduction that introduced converted tetraploid genetics (T. Rose F. Kennedy) into our Velvet Hammer lines. Pinewood Sledgehammer is an impressive flower, but it is slow to increase and will not be available for sale for several years. Benjamin Andrew is typically sold out as well. Benny’s Hammer is a good chance to get the genetics from these two fabulous flowers. While not as large as either parent, Benny’s Hammer has a rich color that surpasses Pinewood Sledgehammer and is more consistent in opening and appearance than Benjamin Andrew. As a hybridizing plant, Benny’s Hammer is pod and pollen fertile. We saw an outstanding seedling from Benny’s Hammer in the summer of 2025. In the garden, Benny’s Hammer produced numerous beautiful flowers on fine scapes. It was quite a show-off in 2025. We are confident that people will enjoy Benny’s Hammer in their garden and if used for hybridizing, they will be rewarded with beautiful seedlings." Dormant. 23 buds. Pix from Korth.
