True red with ruffled yellow edge, celery green throat, and very heavy substance. Pierce said: "A MONSTER! They just keep getting bigger AND, Better! Another near Perfect daylily. Rich Dark Red coloration with a bright glow, darker veining. A light edge with Lemon saw teeth. But it’s the Ginormous Size, 4” wide petals, and deep Olive-Green throat that makes this monster an Exotic! I hesitated to use the Tet conversion simply because next to what I have already achieved, it seemed too tiny, but I had the pollen and from only 3 seeds got The Master. --- Stunning flowers every day. --- Deep purple with white green edge. From Korth:" Midnight Watchman is the result of our plan that did work. When we crossed Marrakesh with our dormant purple seedling, we got a larger flower with clear purple colors and a green/white edge. In this case, the dormancy from our pollen parent was passed on and we have a hardy deep purple with greenish edge all on a large 6″ flower. From Korth: "Once and For All is an improvement with vigorous foliage and good increase. The flowers are deep red with virtually no blemishes. The flowers open slowly with full open at 8 or 9 am. With the slow opening, the flowers look good late in the day. The large and dramatic edge is the standout feature and this flower grabs attention when blooming in the garden. SINGLE FAN AT THIS TIME. This is what Gossard had to say back in 2009. "Outer Limits simply has the biggest edge as far as surface area is concerned produced to date, the edge covers 2/3 of the flower. Petals are 2 1/4 inches with a 3/4 inch edge. The edge has a greenish cast. Cross is a sib cross of one of my best, crossed with John Benz's best kid, both of which are from (Forestlake Ragamuffin x Tetra Spindazzle). Flowers are Unusual formed crispate. Midway through the bloom season, doubling occurs. It has been a tremendous parent. It is producing better toothy huge edged kids than itself.
